Thank you, New York Post, for being a paper a person can trust (“Legacy media’s legacy of failure,” Michael Goodwin, May 4).
The reason we can’t trust other sources — ABC, NBC, CBS and MSNBC — is simple: For four years under President Joe Biden, these news outlets, newscasters and journalists failed to tell the truth to the American people. What could have been the biggest story in decades was not reported.
Outlets knew of Biden’s decline, but held back. What a disservice and what poor journalism; the trust issue produced will take decades for the media to resolve.
Thank you again to the New York Post for true professional journalism and honesty.

The best thing that happened to President Trump was losing that second election.
It allowed him to study what happened to him and craft a plan to break the globalists’ hard-left grip on America. The media was a large part of it, as reporters told citizens the story from their daily viewpoints.
Since then, luckily, the legacy media has committed suicide and many have found other sources to get their unbiased news information. It’s a shame that the truth is out there, and you have to look for it.
Only those caught in the echo chamber of legacy media are reading or listening to what it has to say. The rest of us who have found the truth mourn the loss of once-great investigative outlets. Then again, we left them a long time ago.

Well, it’s about time President Trump restricted public funds to NPR and PBS, which have become echo chambers for liberal and Democratic talking points.
I, along with the majority of the American people, consider this a win.

Biden’s decline wasn’t an overnight phenomenon, and most of America saw it on display whenever he was permitted by his handlers to come out of his protective lair.
The incompetent and complicit media should have been ashamed. But Joe was the guy that beat President Trump, and that made him deserving of idol status.
Sadly, all of these fools, including Jill Biden, did a disservice to our nation and to Biden (who was obviously not even capable of making his way off-stage without a guide).

We have outgrown the label “legacy media” — it’s too kind. Let’s begin to call them what they have truly become: “the dinosaur media.” They have gone extinct.

OK, Gov. Hochul, you have only set up neighboring states to sell fossil-fuel-powered vehicles to New York residents (“NY’s Electric-Car Madness,” Editorial, May 4).
New Jersey dealerships nearby are dreaming and counting bags of money — not sheep.
With its dream of all-electric power, the New York State Energy Plan is DOA like the governor’s hopes for re-election.

With her party now trashing Tesla, the EV producer that Democrats once promoted as the savior of the Earth’s climate — all because Elon Musk has switched sides politically — it’s time for Kathy Hochul to end her ridiculous, pointless and totally specious electric-vehicle mandate.
Stop catering to the interest groups behind this nonsense and show some concern for the people you’re supposed to be serving.
