Where Lauren Graham leads, her Gilmore Girls family is sure to follow.
The actress got not one but two nostalgic TV reunions while receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 3.
Members of her Stars Hollow family — including Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), and Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger) — showed up to honor the woman behind Lorelai Gilmore. It also marked a rare red-carpet reunion between Graham and Patterson, who hadn’t been photographed together since the 2016 Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premiere.
Also in attendance? The show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Dan Palladino, who helped write, direct, and produce many episodes of the beloved series.
And while Graham’s onscreen daughter Alexis Bledel couldn’t make the event, her Parenthood daughter Mae Whitman was there to cheer her on.
“This is so overwhelming and so nice,” Graham told the crowd. “It’s so moving to see so many friends and colleagues here. I just feel so proud of the work I’ve gotten to do.”
Of course, fans know that Lorelai and Rory’s bond is still alive and well. The duo reunited earlier this year at the 2025 Emmys to present the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
“Twenty-five years ago,” Graham began, “a show called Gilmore Girls premiered and apparently took the season of fall hostage.”
Bledel joked that the cast was “bullied and starving” during the show’s seven-season run, to which Graham replied, “But the one thing we did have, we had scripts.”
During her Walk of Fame speech, Graham reflected on the show’s writing and her long-running partnership with Sherman-Palladino.
“In the case of Amy and Dan—and particularly with Amy,” she said, addressing the showrunner, “I feel sometimes we share a brain and have a relationship where I hear what she intends when she writes.”
Seemingly teasing a potential reunion, she added, “That is an incredible gift from the first script and hopefully won’t be the last.”
So… another Gilmore Girls revival, perhaps? As Lorelai would say: only time (and maybe another cup of coffee) will tell.
