NextImg:Last-minute tickets to see Boygenius at MSG are surprisingly cheap

The indie event of the year is almost here.

On Monday, Oct. 2, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker’s supergroup Boygenius will take the stage at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

At the one-night-only event, they’ll be joined by fellow industry darlings MUNA.

And, if you haven’t scooped up last-minute tickets to hear Boygenius perform “$20,” “Salt In The Wound,” “Ketchum, ID” live in the Big Apple yet, it’s not too late.

Better yet, it won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

At the time of publication, our team found some tickets going for as low as $101 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Not bad considering tickets to see the trio live at this summer’s RE: Set Concert series at the Forest Hills Stadium started at $171 before fees.

Want to catch the band live just a few days before they drop their just announced “the rest” EP?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about Boygenius’ MSG concert below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

A complete breakdown of all the best ticket prices by sections at Madison Square Garden can be found here:

Earlier this year, Boygenius dropped their first official album, appropriately titled “the record.”

Comprised of 12 songs, the ladies kick off the rockin’ collection of tunes with the stripped down, vocals-only “Without You Without Them.”

After that, the guitars kick in and we’re on our way.

The album then alternates between uplifting anthems like “$20” to the melancholy, trippy ballads “Emily I’m Sorry” and “True Blue.”

For our money, the acoustic, earnest, swirling “Revolution O” is the true standout track on the album though.

When all is said and done, Boygenius closes with the bittersweet, emotional finale “Letter To An Old Poet.”

If you haven’t had a chance to hear “the record” in its entirety, you can take it all in here as many times as you want.

Up next, they’re releasing tracks that didn’t make the cut on their EP “the rest” which was just announced on Instagram.

MUNA is the brainchild of of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. A decade into their career, the trio has put out three albums, opened for Kacey Musgraves on her 2022 tour and had their cover of Britney Spears’ “Sometimes” featured in the film “Fire Island.”

You can listen to their entire catalog right here, right now.

Many of our favorite stars are on the road this summer.

Here are just five we’re nerding out about (and counting down the days) to see these next few months.

• Taylor Swift

• Olivia Rodrigo

• Stevie Nicks

• Jenny Lewis

• Yeah Yeah Yeahs
