Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s recent outing took a scary turn.
The couple was at the scene of an officer-involved shooting around 5:30 p.m. Thursday near Miami’s popular Lincoln Road area, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 49, detailed in an Instagram Story.
“A man had 2 people held hostage at knifepoint. Cops responded and an officer shot the suspect,” Larsa wrote.
“So thankful for the Miami Beach Police Department it was scary af everyone was running and screaming.”
The wounded suspect was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, a spokesperson for the Miami Beach Police Department said, according to TMZ.
The investigation into the ordeal is ongoing.
Larsa also posted a video Thursday on her Instagram Story that showed cops trying to clear the area as people frantically ran away.
Larsa, the ex-wife of six-time NBA champ Scottie Pippen, was first linked to Marcus, the 32-year-old son of Pippen’s former Bulls teammate Michael Jordan, in September 2022.
Though they made their relationship public in January, the coupling has fueled a flurry of headlines in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, Jordan was walking out of dinner and was asked by the paparazzi if he approved of Marcus’ relationship, to which the NBA legend shouted, “No!”
Marcus and Larsa then addressed the drama on their “Separation Anxiety” podcast, which launched in June.
“But it probably is awkward for my ex [Scottie Pippen] and your dad because they have their own relationship or whatever it was,” Larsa said.
“I wasn’t a part of that, you weren’t a part of that. So I feel like for them it probably is weird, it probably is weird for your dad. I can’t be mad.”
Jordan and Pippen clinched six championships together when they played for the Bulls in the 1990s.
Their relationship appeared to deteriorate, however, following the spring 2020 release of “The Last Dance,” as Pippen was said to be unhappy with his portrayal in the docuseries on the Chicago dynasty.
Larsa’s divorce from Pippen was finalized in December 2021.
They share four children together: sons Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, and Justin, 18, and 14-year-old daughter Sophia.
