Lana Del Rey stepped out during Paris Fashion Week with husband Jeremy Dufrene on her arm, sitting front row at the Valentino runway show in decidedly mismatched outfits.
While Del Rey looked dressed for a black-tie affair, Dufrene was much more casual, choosing a canvas pants and jacket set.
The singer chose a pale purple silk chiffon gown from the designer’s Resort 2026 collection, complete with fur accents that fell slightly off her shoulders. The dress, gathered at the top, featured a pinned bow on her left hip.
She accessorized with a beaded shoulder bag from the Italian design house.
Dufrene was more laid-back, opting for a bright blue canvas jacket and matching pants, underneath which he wore a butter yellow cotton T-shirt.
He added a baseball cap and upside-down sunglasses atop the brim.
The couple was in attendance to support Creative Director Alessandro Michele, one of many designers who have participated in the recent game of high-fashion musical chairs.
Michele was one of the first to shift design houses, debuting his first collection for Valentino last summer after 20 years at Gucci, including eight years at the helm.
The couple’s mismatched style was appropriate, as Michele is known for an eclectic sensibility throughout his tenure at Gucci. It is a style that he now brings to Maison Valentino.
The pair is rarely seen out and about together, so it was even more special that they stepped out in Paris.
The sighting was appropriate given their relationship to Michele, as Del Rey famously stood as the designer’s muse for many years while he was at Gucci.
Del Rey and Dufrene just celebrated their first anniversary, sharing some throwback photos from their wedding on Instagram.
And while Del Rey and Dufrene might have made conflicting style choices, her sister Caroline Grant followed her lead in a romantically bohemian mini dress with a sheer overlay and intricate embroidery.
