Lala Kent dished out some tea on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, which began filming June 28.
On the July 26 episode of her podcast Give Them Lala, Kent revealed that there is a “bit of a twist” coming for fans in the upcoming installment, which will mark the first entirely post-Scandoval season.
“You will see a bit of a turn where there’s things that I have maybe needed in the past that I didn’t get because people were like, ‘Oh, she’s got her own back,'” she shared. “There is a little bit of a twist which I was very, very thankful for. It is just a very interesting environment to be a part of.”
In the wake of seemingly perpetual drama among the cast due to news breaking about series star Tom Sandoval cheating on his ex and co-star Ariana Madix with another fellow co-star Raquel (now Rachel) Leviss in March, everyone has suffered the brunt of the brawl.
“There will be a day where the dust settles,” Kent said. “People move on. It is the strangest season that we have ever filmed.”

She opened up about how usually, she “can’t wait” for a season of VPR to air, but this season has changed things for her.
“This round I am more, ‘I am going to go do and be and then I will retreat because I am very much in a healing process right now,'” she explained.
She also noted that this season marked the first time she “let her guard down,” which she didn’t particularly enjoy.
“I immediately regretted it,” she revealed. “I did not like it and I felt extremely exposed.”
While production told her that “those are the moments that show you are a real person,” she quipped that she’s “ok not being a real person on camera.”
“Not to say that I’m not a real person while we’re filming,” she clarified, “I just feel like I put my armor on because you have to.”
While Madix told The New York Times that she wishes to avoid filming with Sandoval from now on, her friend and co-star Scheana Shay also reported that she felt “very uncomfortable” and “emotionally drain[ed]” while being partnered with Sandoval to film a “spiritual meditation healing sort of thing,” per the Daily Mail.
As we anxiously await a release date for Season 11, the first 10 seasons of Vanderpump Rules are available to stream on Peacock.
