Could Timothée Chalamet be Kylie Jenner’s next stylist?
The “Kardashians” star, 25, hit the 2023 Met Gala red carpet in a fiery red gown by Haider Ackermann for Jean Paul Gaultier on Monday, showing off her curves when she unveiled the one-shouldered look underneath a matching jacket that turned into a flowing train.
The mom of two slipped into a waist-cinching black and blue corset dress and gloves for the afterparties, though spies told Page Six that she was turned away at the door when Doja Cat’s party was over capacity.
On Tuesday, the Kylie Cosmetics founder twinned with daughter Stormi in matching mesh looks to a party celebrating Jean Paul Gaultier.
Her choice of designer isn’t surprising as the makeup mogul was recently named the new face of the French fashion brand — but the connection could also hint at her budding relationship with Timothée Chalamet.
While the “Dune” star was noticeably absent from the fabulous fête — despite filming a Chanel commercial in NYC just weeks prior — he has a long history with Ackermann, having worn his designs to several big events in the past.
Most notably, Chalamet, 27, rocked a white satin Ackermann jacket with Rick Owens sweatpants and Converse sneakers to the 2021 Met Gala and turned heads in a backless red halter top at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.
The New Yorker is also fond of a particular particular pair of boots that he has worn on numerous occasions.
The two first linked up in 2017 when Chalamet was preparing for his “Call Me By Your Name” press tour and Ackermann was designing for luxury brand Berluti and the star later wore a white Ackermann-designed tuxedo to his first-ever Academy Awards that year.
In fact, nearly all of Chalamet’s most beloved looks have come from his relationship with the Colombian designer.
“It’s a dialogue with Timothée—not many words are needed. We understand one another like old souls—people with the same sensibilities always find one another,” he told British GQ in 2021.

Ackermann, who took the reigns for a guest collection at Jean Paul Gaultier earlier this year, could actually have played a pivotal role in the blossoming relationship between Chalamet and Jenner; the two were spotted chatting at the brand’s couture runway show in February before sparking dating rumors.
“My big bro’s show was extraordinary,” the actor wrote, afterwards, on Instagram while Jenner posted her own photos praising her “@jeanpaulgaultier familyyyyy.”
While a source told Page Six that Jenner and Chalamet are just having “fun” and their relationship is “new and exciting” and “not serious,” we’re hoping their fashion collaboration is forthcoming.
