The cause of death for Kylie Jenner’s late hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, has been revealed.

Guerrero died of severe pneumonia, according to TMZ.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner told the outlet the late hair guru contracted pneumonia and Cryptococcus neoformans, a fungal organism, as a result of a weakened immune system.

Guerrero’s manner of death was listed as natural.

Guerrero’s cause of death comes after his sister announced his sudden and shocking passing at age 34 on Feb. 22.

“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” Gris shared on a GoFundMe page.

“He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more. Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.

“Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly. Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston.”

His family soon after took to Instagram Stories to “thank everyone for all the love and support during this hard time.”

They added, “Jesus was the brightest light, we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came across.

“We have fallen into tears repeatedly reminiscing and wondering what we could of [sic] done different [sic] to still have him with us.”

On Feb. 25, Gris suggested that Jesus died after being sick, telling Us Weekly that their family was “able to track every one of his steps, but … don’t know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness.”

“It all happened suddenly, and no one knows why,” she added.

Gris went on to confirm that Jesus died at a US hospital “and that’s part of why there are so many unanswered questions because nothing they had done was able to prevent this from happening.”

The grieving sister also explained that the glam guru had been sick during February when he worked with Kylie Jenner for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, singer Kali Uchis for the Grammys and Jennifer Lopez for a work trip to the United Arab Emirates.

“Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” she said.

“They told him he was not going to work, he should see a doctor and rest. And he wanted to come home.”

However, as soon as he showed up in Dubai, he didn’t “look well” and was urged to “go back to the hospital” if he didn’t get any better. He died after he returned to the US.

Jesus — who was beloved in the Hollywood community — was mourned by many celebs, including Lopez and Jenner, the latter of whom offered to pay for the funeral arrangements.
