The Knicks can cross another potential piece off the list.
Point guard Kyle Lowry has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the 76ers, according to multiple reports.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Lowry’s agent and Philadelphia general manager Daryl Morey “ramped up” discussions over the past week as the guard mulled “several” other teams.
The Knicks, already loaded with Villanova talent, missed out on the 38-year-old Philadelphia native.
The Post’s Stefan Bondy listed Lowry as one of the potential targets the Knicks could look to in free agency to beef up their depth.
In his first season with the 76ers last year, Lowry averaged 8.0 points and 4.6 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.
He averaged 7.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds in the first-round playoff series against the Knicks, which the 76ers lost in six games.
