Do blondes really have more fun? Kris Jenner is about to find out.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan’s momager, 69, debuted a dramatic ice-blond bob on Wednesday, saying goodbye to her signature jet-black hairdo for now.

On Instagram, Jenner posted a few photos of the look — side-swept bangs, blunt-cut ends — calling out hairstylist Chris Appleton and Shark Beauty’s Shark Glam launch event at CUT Lounge at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, which was the occasion for the changeup.

The “Kardashians” star, 69, ditched her signature jet-black pixie cut for an icy blond ‘do created by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.
Appleton documented her hair transformation in a playful Instagram video set to Sabrina Carpenter’s viral song “When Did You Get Hot?”
For the event, the momager paired her new platinum look with a black leather blazer and a gold necklace with a green stone.
“I wore that black pixie for so long, you know, I couldn’t look at it anymore,” she quipped to the audience, per Us Weekly. Instagram/krisjenner

“We had a fun little blonde moment tonight! ????????‍???? ????,” she captioned the carousel.

“Kris and Kim out here playing freaky Friday ????” one commenter joked, racking up nearly 10,000 likes overnight.

“That’s hot????” offered Paris Hilton.

The mom of six showed off the polished look at the event, pairing her platinum hair with a black leather blazer and a gold collar necklace with a green stone at its center.

Appleton also shared a peek behind-the-scenes of the transformation in a playful Instagram video set to Sabrina Carpenter’s viral hit “When Did You Get Hot?”

“We had a fun little blonde moment tonight!” Jenner captioned her Instagram post of the look.

In the clip, the “Kardashians” star sits makeup-free in a salon chair with a towel wrapped around her head. She mouths along to the lyrics — “Wait, I need a minute” — before placing her hand over the camera for the unveiling, lifting it off to reveal the full polished look.

“I wore that black pixie for so long, you know, I couldn’t look at it anymore. I’m sure my kids are excited that I tried something new,” Jenner joked during a question-and-answer session at the event, according to Us Weekly.

The change isn’t permanent, however. “I mean, you know me, I’ll be back to the black tomorrow,” she admitted.

Jenner recently opened up about her second facelift in Vogue Arabia’s September 2025 issue, telling the magazine she wanted to be “the best version” of herself. Kris Jenner/Instagram

The hair transformation is just the latest in Jenner’s recent appearance updates. Back in April, the momager set the internet abuzz when she debuted a noticeably refreshed look, which she later revealed was the result of a second facelift. Page Six exclusively reported it was performed by Dr. Steven Levine.

“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she told Vogue Arabia in August. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”

Jenner, who will celebrate her 70th birthday in November, has been candid about her approach to aging and cosmetic procedures.

“Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself,” she opined to the magazine. “If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully — meaning you don’t want to do anything — then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
