Not only did Love Island USA gift us with a special Wednesday night episode in honor of Casa Amor, but they brought us (and Marco) another bombshell named Hannah.
As you may know, day 1 Islander Marco Donetalli has been coupled up with Hannah Wright for quite some time now. Hannah Wright is a 24-year-old from Palm Springs, California, and while she may not have been in the villa on day 1 like Marco, she quickly entered as a bombshell and shook things up on day 2. The two quickly formed a strong connection and have been coupled up ever since.
Marco and Hannah W. may actually be the closest couple in the villa at the moment, as they closed things off just before the girls were sent to Casa Amor — agreeing to stay focused on one another regardless of whoever else enters the villa.
That is until last night’s Episode 21, when a new bombshell’s entrance stirred things up. Though Marco was staying loyal to Hannah W. throughout the past few days of Casa, this all changed when he received a text to get ready to go on a date with Hannah “#reunited.”
Without specifying a last name, Marco, of course, assumed he would be #reuniting with Hannah Wright, and literally jumped for joy before running inside to get ready for the date. To his surprise, his ex-girlfriend, Hannah Ortega, walked into the villa instead. His smile immediately faded as he went into full distress.
Hannah Ortega is a 22-year-old from Coral Springs, Florida. She explained that the two never had an official relationship, because while she caught feelings for Marco a few months prior to his appearance on the reality dating series, he wasn’t able to commit to her.
Their date was incredibly awkward, as Hannah O. was beaming to be there, while Marco told the bombshell, “I never really planned on seeing you again.” Ouch. But Marco did reveal that had feelings for Hannah O. previously, he was just too scared to admit it.
When Hannah O. asked Marco if he is 100% for Hannah W., he replied with, “I feel as though we didn’t give ourselves a fair chance.” And that’s where the episode leaves us — with unfinished business just like Hannah O. and Marco.
