Both the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors look to end losing streaks as the two Atlantic Division rivals meet Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks dropped their last two games to the Bucks and Celtics in the NBA’s In-Season Tournament, losing by 24 to Milwaukee in the quarterfinals and 10 to Boston in the losers’ bracket last Friday night.

The Raptors have lost five of their last six games, including their last three in the favorite role to the Knicks, Heat and Hornets.

Toronto, flipped to a road underdog Monday, is looking to avenge a 119-106 home defeat to New York on Dec. 1. Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 29 points in the losing effort, while guard Donte DiVincenzo torched Toronto with seven three-pointers off the New York bench.

That wasn’t a big surprise, as the Raptors own the league’s worst three-point defense this season.

The Raptors have covered the spread in four of their last six opportunities as an underdog, which includes outright wins over the Suns and Pacers. They are getting 4.5 points Monday against New York.

The Knicks own a 1-3 record against the spread in their last four home games, but they have won six of their past seven games at the Garden.

Since 2021, the Raptors have won three of their last four games in New York, including a pair of victories last season as a short underdog.

A departure from a usually stingy Tom Thibodeau-coached team, New York has yielded 146 and 133 points in its last two games since holding Toronto to 106 points 10 days ago.

The Knicks allowed Milwaukee and Boston to shoot more 50% from beyond the arc and combine for 42 made threes.

The Knicks have been terrific at the Garden this season, but with their recent defensive woes and this being a revenge spot for the Raptors, let’s take the points and back Toronto in this divisional matchup.
