The last five weeks have been a rough stretch for the Brooklyn Nets, who have lost 15 of their last 19 games.
Perhaps the toughest loss came Sunday.
As a 10-point underdog, Brooklyn led the Clippers, 101-84, entering the fourth quarter and held an 11-point advantage with 5:30 left.
However, Los Angeles outscored the Nets 22-0 down the stretch to pick up a miracle cover and send Brooklyn to its 10th loss in the last 12 games.
The Nets return home from their three-game road trip to host the New York Knicks at Barclays Center on Tuesday.

The Knicks have been rolling, winning seven of nine games in January, including three straight. They pulled away from Toronto on Saturday, 126-100, as Jalen Brunson paced the Knicks with 38 points.
The Nets are looking to avenge a 121-102 home defeat to the Knicks on Dec. 20, as they were limited to 37 percent shooting from the floor.
Brooklyn has lost three consecutive games to the Knicks — all by 18 or more points — after winning nine straight in the series.
Mikal Bridges struggled in that December matchup, connecting on just 4-of-21 shots. Bridges has picked up his scoring of late, averaging 22.0 points per game over his last six.
The Knicks have finished Under the total in 10 of their past 11 games, and before that their blowout win over the Nets remained under the 233 total.
Tuesday night’s rematch has been adjusted down to 223.5, and for good reason.
Since Dec. 30, when the Knicks allowed 140 points to the Pacers, only one opponent has scored more than 109 points, and seven (out of 11) have been held to 100 points or fewer.
