Well, that was unexpected.
Against all odds, the New York Knicks are up 2-0 against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
In both games, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and the Knicks came alive in the fourth quarter and erased double-digit deficits, stunning Boston — and giving fans goosebumps — in the process.
Now, Tom Thibodeau’s team leaves Boston with an improbable two-game advantage coming back to New York’s Madison Square Garden for games three and four of the series.
“You get to the playoffs and it’s about your mental toughness, your defense, and your teamwork,” Thibodeau said. “And always having the belief that you can do something better, and you can find a way to win.”
If you want to see if the Knicks have what it takes to “do something better” as Thibodeau said and close at home, last-minute tickets are available for both games three and four at the Garden.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for game three was $551 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Game four tickets start at $520 before fees on Vivid Seats.
