The Knicks are eyeing a 2-0 lead.
They needed the heroics of Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson to hold off the Cavaliers for a 101-97 win in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series in Cleveland.
They may need more for Game 2 (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT).

Hart, who sprained his ankle in the final minutes of the series opener, was upgraded to “questionable” on Tuesday, a day after he was listed as “doubtful.”
The 28-year-old guard has been a key piece of the Knicks success since coming over at the trade deadline, helping guide the team to an 18-8 mark — including 2-0 against the Cavs in a bench role.
He became the first Knicks reserve since J.R. Smith to post a playoff double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the opener, continuing to show his importance to the team.

“He’s real tough. It’s been exciting since he’s been here,” Isaiah Hartenstein said of Hart. “We feel like we have another guy that brings that physicality. Brings that toughness. So I’ve loved to play with him so far.”
