The Edmonton Oilers were in big trouble on Sunday night.
After storming back from a 3-0 deficit in the second period, the Oilers found themselves behind, 4-3, with just about three minutes to go in Game 4.
A late goal by Evander Kane would send the game to overtime, where Zach Hyman would win it for the Oilers to knot the best-of-7 series at two games apiece.
It was a heart-stopping, massive win for the Oilers, but it was also another indication that the Kings are not going to go quietly into the good night.
Edmonton is a -225 favorite over Los Angeles in the NHL playoffs on Tuesday night.

All season long it seemed like Los Angeles was being overlooked, and that continued down the stretch as the Kings fell off the pace a bit, squandering a chance to win the Pacific Division and relegating them to a first-round matchup with the scorching-hot Oilers.
As expected, the Kings were not given much of a chance against the Oilers, who finished the season on a nine-game winning streak and were 18-2-1 since acquiring Mattias Ekholm.
Edmonton entered the playoffs as essentially co-favorites to win the Western Conference with the Colorado Avalanche.
All of the hype around the Oilers meant that people were naturally going to overlook the Kings, but Los Angeles has shown that to be a mistake through the first four games.
Not only is the series tied, 2-2, but three of the four games have gone beyond regulation, and the two teams each have seven goals at 5-on-5.
Edmonton’s power play remains ruthless and could very well be the difference by the time this series ends, but so far Los Angeles is hanging in there with the Oilers.
Edmonton does boast the stronger statistical portfolio at 5-on-5 with a +3.4 expected goal difference and a 62 to 52 edge in high-danger scoring chances.
Still, the Kings are getting strong goaltending from Joonas Korpisalo, and they’ve been pretty clinical in front of goal.
The Oilers are deserving of their status as favorites in Game 5 and are the likelier winners of this contest and series, but the Kings have proven to be experts at sticking around and have shown they know how to compete with Edmonton.
At a big number, Los Angeles is a viable bet on Tuesday night.
The Pick: Kings +185 (Caesars)
