While Amazon typically offers a one-month free trial to try out its Kindle Unlimited subscription service, right now, there’s a limited-time deal that’ll let you try out the service for longer at a deeply discounted price.
Normally $11.99/month, you can snag two months of Kindle Unlimited for $4.99 total. That’s a discount of 79% — nearly $19 of savings!
To get the offer, all you have to do is sign into your Amazon account, head over to the Kindle Unlimited landing page and choose the two-month deal rather than the one-month free trial. The default card on your Amazon account will be changed $4.99, and then after two months, the $11.99/month subscription price will kick in.
Kindle Unlimited is a subscription-based service by Amazon that gives readers access to over 4 million e-book titles for one low monthly price.
Not unlike a library, subscribers can borrow up to twenty books at a time. There’s also included access to select audiobooks and popular magazines.
Kindle Unlimited’s catalog changes often, with books coming off of and joining the service all of the time. However, once you borrow a book, it stays in your library until you return it, even if that book is no longer available to borrow on Kindle Unlimited.
That’s why we recommend borrowing books as soon as you see them even if you don’t plan on reading them right away, because you never know when they might disappear from the service.
With Kindle in the name, you assume you have to read Kindle Unlimited e-books on a Kindle. While you can (and we love the Kindle Paperwhite), you can also read Kindle e-books in general using the Amazon Kindle app on smartphones and tablets.
Kindle Unlimited’s library is made up of over four million titles, per Amazon. We’ve found that there seems to be a particular emphasis on romance novels and thrillers. Here are some titles you can expect to see right now, all of which either have been or will soon be adapted for the screen:
If you’re an avid reader or someone trying to get back into reading, yes!
We say this, though, with the caveat that it all depends on what genres you like to read. Romance readers will likely get the most out of Kindle Unlimited due to the library being very romance-heavy, but with some digging into the catalog, every kind of reader may find something to love on Kindle Unlimited.
