A kidnapping victim showing “clear signs of physical abuse” was rescued from her alleged captor in Florida after mouthing “save me” to a police officer who responded to a medical call, authorities said.

Police in Cape Coral arrived at an address in the 200 block of SW 21st Terrace around 3 am on Nov. 18 after getting a report that 30-year-old Jordan Garrett was experiencing a “medical emergency,” the agency said in a press release this week.

While at the scene, the officers noticed that a woman who was with Garrett was “in distress” and displaying marks of abuse.

“The victim, in a dire plea for help, silently mouthed ‘save me’ to an officer,” police said.

“Further investigation revealed she had sustained multiple bruises and injuries, reportedly inflicted by Garrett.”

It was not immediately known what medical issued Garrett was having when police arrived.

Both Garrett and the alleged abuse victim were taken to a hospital, where medics discovered “extensive bruising” over the woman’s body, police said.

The woman then shared what cops described as a “harrowing account” of being held captive in her own house by Garrett, who allegedly subjected her to repeated physical assaults and sexual abuse.

The 30-year-old suspect had allegedly taken away the woman’s phone after she tried to call for help and threatened her.

A police investigation has determined that Garrett “forcibly detained the victim, subjecting her to continuous abuse, and prevented her from seeking medical care or contacting law enforcement,” which cops said caused her life to be “in peril.”

Police did not disclose how long the woman’s captivity lasted, nor did they say how the suspect and victim knew one another.

After Garrett was discharged from the hospital, he was booked into the Lee County Jail on charges of kidnapping, battery and sexual battery, depriving crime victim of medical care and obstructing justice.

He remained behind bars Friday on a $190,000 bond.

He is due back in court for his arraignment on Dec. 18.
