In The Kardashians Season 3 premiere, Khloé Kardashian revealed that doctors found melanoma on her face — and during the Hulu series’ latest episode, the reality star had to have a pretty gruesome surgery to remove the tumor, begging the question: will Khloé ever get a break?

In her confessional, Kardashian told cameras that the “tiny little dot” she found on her face resulted in surgeons needing to “open up [her] cheek.”

“I just know I woke up and I had this huge bandage on my face and I couldn’t really move my mouth because I had stitches on the inside of my mouth, too,” she said. “This was way more serious than I either understood or I anticipated it to be.”

Back in her house, the Good American founder sported a much larger bandage on her face than we previously saw as she opened up about the surgery to her BFF Malika Haqq.

“I guess when they were reviewing the labs [it was] a lot more than what they thought had to be removed,” she said. “What they don’t know is just if it’s precancerous or if it already went to cancer. And melanoma’s deadly. And it’s a lot. The stitches [were] like crazy.”

While showing Haqq a photo of her face post-surgery, she reiterated, “It was a lot more than I thought was happening. Disgusting.”

The former X Factor host — who had melanoma removed from her back once before when she was 19 — opened up about feeling “anxious” over the future results.

“When you’re waiting on results is sort of when your mind can just like go to different places,” she said. “You start thinking, ‘OK, but what if the cancer did spread?’ You just start thinking these crazy things … You just spiral into darkness.”

By the end of the episode, Kardashian was “relieved” to announce that they got the “entire tumor” while speaking with momager Kris Jenner.

“It could’ve spread at any minute,” she revealed. “The relief of knowing that everything’s gone —  everything’s out of my system —  it’s good. This, never thought for a second, it was a tumor on my face. Like, never never never.”

The Kardashians airs new episodes every Thursday on Hulu.
