Clue: Unimpressed. Answer: What is Kelly Ripa‘s reaction to being a question on Jeopardy?

During this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Mark Consuelos couldn’t contain his excitement over being name-dropped on Monday night’s (July 10) episode of the long-running game show — but Ripa? Not so much.

Consuelos told the audience he and Ripa were “a question” on Jeopardy last night, adding, “Not the first round where I get all of them right. We were a second-round question!”

The clue read: “In 2023, her hubby Mark Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest as her co-host on her Live morning show,” leaving Consuelos to proudly answer, “Who is Kelly Ripa?”

Meanwhile, his wife sat quietly as she lit and smoked a fake cigarette. When she asked if the contestant answered the question correctly, both Consuelos and executive producer Michael Gelman confirmed that he did.

“How many points was it worth? Was it a Daily Double?” a slightly unamused Ripa inquired.

Upon realizing it was “400” points in the Celebrity Potpourri category, she rolled her eyes and scoffed, “Oh, well that’s not that —”

While she didn’t quite finish her thought, Ripa changed her tone as she enlisted her husband in helping her light not one, but two, fake cigarettes.

“I’m gonna smoke two,” she joked. “Because it’s not every day you get to be on second-round of Jeopardy! Even if it is a $400 question!”

It was clear that this morning’s chat between the longtime married couple was going to be a fun one. Consuelos admitted at the start of the show that he was feeling “a little wacky” due to his disrupted sleep pattern. He also warned producers to get their “fingers ready” to press the censor button in case he slipped up.
