Don’t get any ideas!

On the subject of aiming for better REM sleep, Kelly Ripa highlighted a tool of hers on Tuesday’s Live with Kelly and Mark.

“Anyway, I have that thing, the Apollo,” she said.

Mark Consuelos asked, “What is that?”

Ripa reminded her husband and co-host, “It’s the thing that you call my ankle monitor. It looks like an ankle monitor.”

After realizing what Ripa what was talking about, Consuelos agreed that she looks like she is “on house arrest” when she has the nerve stimulator on, as Ripa noted that “it vibrates.”

Consuelos slyly quipped, “The first time she came to bed with it, I’m like, oh. We’re playing this now.”

As the audience laughed, Consuelos added, “What did you do? Why are you on house arrest? You’re a bad, bad girl.”

Ripa teased the audience, “You’re all enablers, do not encourage this.”

However, she only got herself in deeper as she attempted to explain how the Apollo works.

“Anyway, so I do put on the sleep setting,” she shared, “and I don’t know what it does.”

Consuelos chimed in, “It’s the vibration, right?”

Ripa continued, “It vibrates, it vibrates. And I know, now I’m making it sound even more pornographic.”

Live EP Michael Gelman helped Ripa out, noting that “it stimulates the vagus nerve,” which Ripa echoed, highlighting that “it does put [her] to sleep.”

“It puts me to sleep, like, quickly,” she said.

As DECIDER previously reported, Live with Kelly and Mark is currently on a brief summer break, though episodes airing during this time will still feature fresh new content, like host chats. The syndicated morning show is set to return on June 30, when Ripa and Consuelos kick off a star-studded 4th of July Week.
