Kelly Ripa is well aware that she’s not Mark Consuelos‘ only “work wife.”

On Live with Kelly and Mark on Tuesday, Consuelos gushed about his Italian football club Campobasso FC’s recent victory and their current sixth place ranking, prompting Ripa to chime in about her husband and co-host’s enthusiasm for the team.

“I always think of myself as his work wife, and also his wife,” she explained, “but he has other work wives.”

Consuelos confirmed that to be true, referring to the “Italian soccer team guys.”

“Matt Rizzetta, I’m on the phone with him 20 hours a day,” he added.

Ripa teased that she would like to be Rizzetta “in [her] next life,” noting that she “want[s] to have that kind of attention showered on [her].”

Consuelos asked, “Are you sure?”

As for why, Ripa insisted that “when he calls, it doesn’t matter what’s happening, [Consuelos] takes the call.

“Mark’s phone is always in his hand,” she continued. “So imagine my dismay when I call him, say it’s an emergency, and I go straight to voicemail. I know that he’s doing that! He’s sending me straight to voicemail.”

Consuelos quipped, “Listen, if you scored five goals in seven games, I’d be talking to you every single day. I’d be talking about you, to you.”

Per usual, Ripa had the perfect response up her sleeve.

“I’ve worked here for 24 years. I’ve scored a lot of goals,” she fired back. “Oh, so many goals! So many hat tricks. I’ve played defense for years.”

Consuelos urged Ripa to “be careful what you wish for,” bringing up their previous discussion of Consuelos watching a game at “excessive volume.”

“You like what you like to watch, and I watch what I want to watch,” he said. “We have plenty of conversations.”

Ripa clapped back, “I’m not talking about TV!”

Consuelos then swiftly transitioned to the weather.

“Today’s going to be beautiful. It’s going to be 80 degrees, although it’s about 32 degrees in here right now,” he joked.
