Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos know how to party — and according to them, so do their co-workers.

The two kicked off this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark in Palm Springs by revealing that they “threw a rager” the night before.

Ripa quipped, “You know, a lot of people say, ‘Kelly, Mark, what’s the Live staff like off-camera?”

While Consuelos claimed that he was “surprised that many of them are actually here this morning,” Ripa shed some more light on their festivities.

“We started the party appropriately right after the post-production meeting at 5 p.m. thinking that it would end early,” she explained. “Nope, not these guys. They hear open bar and free food, and it’s an all-nighter.”

Consuelos joked, “I was like, ‘Cindy MacDonald, get out of my bed. And bring Schully with you.'”

Ripa teased, “That is what we do. We’re like, ‘Will the last person leaving take the Gelman’s?'”

The co-hosts treated viewers to some pictures from the evening, including one of their “meat table” filled with platters of food.

“How about that? Is that gorgeous?” Ripa added.

They also shared that there were some celebrity sightings at their party, which Ripa claimed they “couldn’t believe.”

“I don’t know if you’re me, but when I see a celebrity in the wild, I shut down,” she said. “I don’t know how to behave. I forget, like, how to talk to them without cue cards telling me what to say.”

One of the stars who stopped by Sheryl Lee Ralph, who was a guest on the Nov. 11 episode of Live.

“Sheryl Lee Ralph didn’t realize there was food until she was ready to leave. She goes, ‘Oh, there was food?'” Ripa said. “So I said, Let me make you a to-go bag.’ She was just wrapping it up in a napkin. And I said, ‘No, no, no. We can do better than a napkin. Let me get you a zip-loc bag.'”

They proceeded to share more pictures, one of which featured “a bunch of the staff together,” including MacDonald, who Ripa quipped “was in our bed.”
