Mark Consuelos kicked off a conversation this morning on Live with Kelly and Mark by asking his wife and co-host Kelly Ripa, “Do you shower the normal way? Or the other way?”
Ripa replied, “I don’t know what that means,” prompting Consuelos to explain “the two ways people shower.”
“Primarily facing the water, or back to the water?” he clarified.
Ripa said his query was a “foul question” because of the “rainmaker” shower head they have at home that “hangs over [her] head.”
“If you’re a woman, and I’m going to speak to the ladies here, and you don’t want to get your hair wet because you’re trying to extend your blowout and your hair salon appointment, that thing is the devil,” she said. “I haven’t showered a normal way in 15 years.”
Consuelos, who thought the rainmaker is “so pretty,” was stunned that Ripa didn’t like it as much as he does.
“And it’s a double size one, and there’s a lot of water pressure,” Consuelos gushed, as Ripa noted that she has to “slide into the side.”
Consuelos likened it to “a power washer,” while Ripa claims she “slither[s] in.”

Consuelos continued his questioning, asking, “Before we met, did you shower facing it, or do you shower away?” to which Ripa explained, “So I come in, I face it, I turn around, do my work, [and] turn around,” ultimately concluding that she “primarily” faces away from the shower head.
Consuelos exclaimed, “Me too,” as the two high-fived. “That means we’re not sociopaths. I think that’s what this thing says.”
Ripa claimed she “already know[s she’s] not a sociopath” due to previously failing a “sociopathy test.”
“A fail is a good thing,” she noted. “You don’t want to be 100% on this, but I got the lowest score possible.”
