Katy Perry will be temporarily replaced on “American Idol” while she is across the pond for King Charles’ upcoming coronation.

Luke Bryan says a couple of “big time” Hollywood stars will be filling in for the “ET” singer and fellow judge Lionel Richie, who are set to take the stage on May 6 at Windsor Castle.

“It’s big time. It’s big time,” the country star told Entertainment Tonight. “The people that we have filling in, contestants have used their songs many, many times. A lot more than mine!”

A break from the judge’s table might be a good thing for Perry, who has recently been under scrutiny for her overly critical comments about the show’s contestants.

Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are going to be replaced with “big time” guest judges on “American Idol” this week.

Just a few weeks ago, the hitmaker was booed by the “Idol” audience for bashing Nutsa Buzaladze’s bedazzled outfit choices.

“Nutsa, every time you take the stage it’s like you glitter bomb the stage,” Perry said, prompting the crowd to erupt in jeers.

“Listen, one thing that I would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time. I know that is going to be hard.”

Perry has faced a lot of backlash this season over her insensitive comments about contestants.

Although Perry tried to defend herself, it wasn’t the first time the “Dark Horse” singer rubbed audiences the wrong way.

One month prior, Perry faced backlash for “mom-shaming” contestant Sara Beth Liebe — a 25-year-old mother of three.

Prior to her audition, Liebe told the judges about her situation, prompting Perry to stand up and walk behind the judge’s table.

“If Katy lays on the table, I think I’m going to pass out,” Liebe said, to which the singer — who shares daughter Daisy, 2, with fiancé Orlando Bloom — replied, “Honey, you’ve been laying on the table too much.”

Perry was booed last month for criticizing one of the contestant’s outfits.

Liebe, who ended up leaving the singing competition, later spoke about the “embarrassing” and “hurtful” moment on TikTok.

“I think that women supporting and uplifting other women is so cool and I think that mom-shaming is super lame and I think that it’s hard enough to be a mom and it’s hard enough to be a woman,” she said in the since-deleted video.

“American Idol” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Meanwhile, live coverage of King Charles’ coronation ceremony starts Saturday at 5 a.m ET on CBS.
