Kate Middleton is showing support for Turkey and Syria.

The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Hayes Muslim Centre in London today to meet with fundraisers who have supported the countries after their recent devastating earthquakes.

The princess covered her head with a white headscarf featuring a black embroidered design, an item that coordinates with an outfit she wore on a 2019 tour of Pakistan, with a simple black coat.

Her monochromatic black outfit was one she’s worn before with a touching history; she previously sported the same Catherine Walker coat and pleated black dress by Alexander McQueen to meet members of the public after Queen Elizabeth II died last September.

She carried a Grace Han top handle bag ($2,444) and wore black Gianvito Rossi heels ($704), keeping her makeup low-key for today’s event.

The couple met with aid workers who have recently returned from the crisis zone along with representatives from the center who have supported earthquake relief efforts — with the group raising more than £25,000 (nearly $30,000) to help victims in Syria and Turkey.

They also took part in an origami-making event with the Turkish Women’s Association, creating paper cranes — which are symbols of healing and hope — in a video shared on Twitter by Daily Mail reporter Rebecca English.

This isn’t the first time Middleton has worn a headscarf; she wore a light blue style to visit a mosque in Malaysia during a 2012 visit, and sported several colorful styles during the 2019 Pakistan tour.

Middleton chose a plain white scarf — known as a dupatta — with her embroidered tunic while in Pakistan, but she brought out the matching Élan Royal Garden dupatta for today’s event for a fitting full-circle moment.
