Vice President Kamala Harris made her late night debut this week with a special appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The presidential nominee held nothing back when it came to talking about Donald Trump on the show. She railed against him for befriending Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un and criticized his response to Hurricane Milton while Stephen Colbert offered her “the champagne of beers,” a.k.a. Miller High Life.

“Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?” Colbert asked.

“I’m gonna tell you what some of the people in my rallies – quite a few people are showing up, by the way,” she replied. “You know, when you’ve lost, you lost millions of jobs, you lost manufacturing, you lost automotive plants, you lost the election. What does that make you? A loser.”

The audience joined her statement with a resounding, “Loser!”

With a laugh, she added, “This is what happens when I drink!”

She went on to slam Trump for allegedly sending Putin Covid tests when they were difficult to come by, as revealed in journalist Bob Woodward’s new book.

“You remember how many people did not have tests and were trying to scramble to get them?” she pointed out. “You remember how rare it was to have one? You remember people by the hundreds were dying every day?… And this man is giving Covid test kits to Vladimir Putin.”

After accusing him of “sending love letters to Kim Jong-un,” Harris continued, “He openly admires dictators and authoritarians… He gets played by these guys.”

Harris also told Colbert that the election has been a “whirlwind” since she entered the race in July. “You know, my opponent, the former president, has been running since 2020… People are exhausted by that old tired playbook of Donald Trump’s,” she said.

Trump’s spokesman Steven Cheung slammed Harris’ appearance soon after with a statement on X, writing, “Kamala drinks a beer to show Americans how relatable she is, but she ends up looking like an out-of-touch elitist trying to gaslight everyone into thinking she’s one of them.”

Later on during the broadcast, Colbert shared a viral image of Harris frowning during her September debate with Trump. “Can you tell us what you’re thinking at this moment right here?” Colbert asked, before adding, “And keep in mind, this in CBS, so keep it clean.”

She replied, “It’s family TV, right? It starts with a W, there’s a letter between it, then the last letter’s F.”

Harris and Tim Walz have been ramping up their campaign now that the presidential election is just weeks away.

In addition to The Late Show, Harris also appeared on a recent episode of Call Her Daddy, while Walz made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Jimmy Kimmel dubbed him “America’s sweetheart.”
