Vice President Kamala Harris didn’t hold back during her appearance on this morning’s episode of The View. The Democratic presidential nominee dragged Donald Trump while chatting politics at the Hot Topics table, insisting that Americans are tired of him and looking for a fresh start in 2024.

Joy Behar, who has made her own feelings for Trump abundantly clear, told Harris that she’s perplexed that people are planning to vote for him again at the polls this November.

“We all know the background of the guy,” Behar began. “He’s a convicted felon, a big-time loser, has been pretty open about his plans if elected to stack D.C. with loyalists, going after the media and comedians — how threatened do you have to be to go after comedians? He wants to do some mass deportations, which really is a throwback to the ’30s. A dictatorship by any other name, this is what he’s planning.”

She then asked Harris, “I cannot understand why anyone would vote for him … do you have an explanation for this at all?”

Harris replied, “Let me just add to your list,” before laughing as Behar told her, “Listen, it’s only an hour show,” while Harris quipped, “Exactly, how much time do you have?”

Harris then noted that Trump said he would “terminate” the U.S. Constitution if elected again, before telling the panel that she’s garnered support from hundreds of prominent Republicans who refuse to back Trump, including members of the Bush, McCain and Cheney families, as well as Mitt Romney.

“We really are building a coalition around some very fundamental issues, including that we love our country and that we have to put country before party,” Harris said.

Harris told The View that she thinks people are reflecting more about “what’s at stake” the closer we get to Election Day, mentioning that Trump “tried to undo the will of the people” in the last presidential election on Jan. 6, 2021.

The VP then said, “I think people are exhausted, and they’re exhausted with the lies, they’re exhausted with the selfishness, they’re exhausted with the attempts to divide us as Americans, and they’re ready to turn the page and chart a new way forward. And I feel very optimistic about that.”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
