Every once in a while, Joy Behar drops a little sex tip on The View — and what she said on this morning’s episode of the daytime talk show might be the best one yet.
In the second to last show before The View goes on holiday hiatus, the ladies held an NSFW discussion about whether they prefer the lights on or off during sex.
Sara Haines said she prefers to get it on in the “abyssal zone,” before joking, “I think I’m hot … in the dark.”
That’s when Behar offered up her bold take on the subject.
“It’s OK to walk in naked with the lights on. But when you have to go to the bathroom, never turn your back. That is a mistake. You walk backwards,” Behar explained as she acted out exactly how she would do it.
“It’s one thing for the boobies to be hanging, but the behind? Forget it,” she added. “That’s the first thing to go.”
Whoopi Goldberg joined in on the fun, joking, “Except if you’re tripping over them. You know, you got to pick ‘em up and put ‘em over your shoulder and get to the bathroom.”
Behar later quipped, “I think if I’m gonna be seen naked, I want a Venmo payment afterwards. It’s gonna cost you, alright?”

This isn’t the first time Behar has surprised her co-hosts with sex advice. During a February 2023 episode of The View, the comedian said she was all for scheduling the act ahead of time.
“I’m all for planning ahead. You need that extra time. You need to get in the right mindset to picture different people, for example,” she said at the time. “The martini in the afternoon on an empty stomach is good. I approve of that.”
She playfully added, “You say, ‘OK, Friday night at 8 o’clock we’re gonna do it, right?’ So at 7 o’clock, you watch a porn movie, you read a book and now you’re ready.”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
