Joy Behar subtly shaded “The View” on Thursday’s episode for firing her back in 2013.

The hosts were reflecting on Tina Turner’s death and her legacy when Behar subtly brought up her two-year hiatus.

“There’s something about her. I’ve been on this show for 26 years right, with a small hiatus as we all know – forced,” Behar said with a slight pause as some people laughed.

The comedian, 80, added that “for some reason, this death has gotten me in my kishkas.”

“I don’t know what it is something about her that she just got to me, I could start crying right now,” Behar concluded.

The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll died from natural causes on May 24 at her $76 million mansion in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.

Behar previously said she was happy to booted from the talk show in 2013.

“I was glad to be fired,” Behar told Time in July 2022. “I basically was sick of the show at that point for some reason, I don’t even remember why.”

Behar was one of the hit ABC show’s original hosts alongside creator Barbara Walters, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos and Meredith Vieira.

Behar’s exit from the show didn’t last too long as she continued to guest host every now and then from 2014 and 2015.

In 2015, ABC announced that she’d be returning in a permanent capacity for the 19th season.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,” Behar said at the time. “But I’m happy to be back home. And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics.”

“The View” co-hosts have changed several times over the years, but she currently sits on the panel alongside Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Alyssa Farah Griffin and longtime host Whoopi Goldberg.
