It was déjà vu all over again for Josh Allen.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback committed four turnovers — including three interceptions — in Monday’s 22-16 overtime loss to the New York Jets.
The last time Allen visited MetLife Stadium — Week 9 of the 2022 season — the 27-year-old quarterback threw two interceptions in what was a Buffalo loss to a Zach Wilson-led Jets team.
Following Monday’s loss, Allen was left scratching his head.
“Same s–t, same place, different day,” Allen said, per Awful Announcing. “I hurt our team and I cost our team. This feels eerily similar to last year and I hate that it’s the same. I do.”
Social media was buzzing Monday night with the theory that Allen had suffered a concussion during the game.
The Big Lead speculated Allen “might have hit his head” on the ground on two separate plays.
One was running with the ball, the other was during his second interception by Jordan Whitehead.

The Big Lead article cited Allen’s third interception and then his fumble “on a play where he didn’t catch a snap cleanly, then ran into one of his own teammates and lost the ball.”
In his last three games against the Jets, Allen has thrown five interceptions and been sacked 13 times, including five on Monday night while posting a QB rating of 63.7, according to the Buffalo News.

Allen led the NFL last season with 19 turnovers and tied his single-game career-high Monday by losing the ball four times.
He also fell to 0-5 all-time in overtime.
