Team Europe is sticking the landing right now at the Ryder Cup.

Spain’s Jon Rahm and Tyrell Hatton of the United Kingdom put up some incredible shots during the seventh hole at Bethpage Black.

Hatton stepped up for a shot where his ball happened to be stuck on a tree branch that looked sure to obstruct his shot.

He instead ended up drilling the shot with an iron straight between two trees and directly onto the green, as the crowd and announcers looked on in shock.

“You’ve got to be kidding me with these last two shots from the Europeans,” said Notah Begay III during NBC’s broadcast.

Hatton and Rahm ended up two-putting en route to winning the hole, as they face Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas.

“The second shot on seven is a little bit of hit and hope,” Rahm said. “Thankfully, it kind of went straight. We were fortunate to have a clean sort of line. Just hoping the stick won’t affect it too much.”

On the sixth hole, Hatton’s tee-shot went awry, leading to Rahm saving this hole with a wild shot from the brush that, incredibly, went over the sand traps and onto the green.

The sixth hole was halved by the Europeans, who are looking like the clear Day 1 winnnners as they scored a point for Team Europe.

Team Europe has been smashing the competition in the early going, as of Friday morning.

Ludvig Aberg and Matt Fitzpatrick were crushing Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley at the time of writing, while Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood led Collin Morikawa and Harris English.

Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are the lone USA pairing that had a lead over Robert MacIntyre and Viktor Hovland.
