A 22-year-old jogger was killed and her two younger brothers were injured when they were hit by a car while running on the side of a Long Island road Thursday morning, according to police.

Ilona Kaydanov, a talented dancer and Stony Brook University alum, was running on the northbound shoulder of Harned Road in Commack when the driver of a 2022 Chrysler Voyager struck her and her siblings around 8:20 a.m., Suffolk County police said.

Kaydanov, of Commack, was rushed to South Shore University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her younger brothers, Dennis, 20, and Joseph Kaydanov, 13, were taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

The young woman, a member of the studio Dance With Us Long Island, was remembered by her heartbroken instructor as dedicated and gifted.

“She was like a daughter to me and just the most incredible, beautiful creature inside and out,” studio owner Stephanie Falciano said in a text to The Post.

“The hardest worker, smart, talented and beautiful. The world has lost today.”

Kaydanov worked in the communications field and was a recent graduate of Stony Brook University with an MBA in marketing, according to her professional website.

The crash is under investigation.

The driver of the Chrysler minivan, Bay Shore resident Francis Floyd, and her two adult passengers, a 44-year-old woman and 64-year-man, were not injured in the crash, police said.

No charges were announced by authorities, but the driver’s car was impounded for a safety check and the crash is under investigation.
