There’s trouble in paradise. Joel Kim Booster, the host of Peacock’s upcoming dating series Love Hotel, is blasting Shannon Beador, who will appear in the show alongside a handful of fellow Real Housewives stars.
Booster slammed the Real Housewives of Orange County veteran as a “pathetic drunk” in a series of since-deleted Instagram Stories obtained by the Bravo fan account Queens of Bravo.
“Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not make you a star and does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period,” Booster wrote, adding that “they will make me delete this.”
As predicted, it wasn’t long before the posts were removed from social media, with Booster saying, “Well, that was quick. Anyway. Don’t regret it. Hope you screenshot it. Hope she suffers.”
Booster also sympathized with Beador’s controversial ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, writing, “Well, let’s just say I can’t imagine what John Janssen went through. Poor guy.”
Before that, Booster allegedly went off on Beador on Instagram Live.
According to one viewer, “He just went on live and COOKED Shannon Beador, like he roasted her, chopped her up, and served her for breakfast.”
During the livestream, Booster accused Beador of allegedly being “a terror for the entire three weeks” they filmed Love Hotel, claiming she “humiliates the crew, was hideous to him” and that she was “terrible to someone he really loves” at the wrap party, which reportedly took place a few hours before his tirade.
“[Booster] got in her face and said, ‘You think you’re a star? People don’t like you, they pity you.’ And then he said, ‘The daughters are just as bad,'” the Instagram Live viewer recounted.
DECIDER has reached out to reps for Peacock for a statement, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
