Jets safety Tony Adams made a dramatic interception of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts with less than two minutes to go in the game.
Adams picked it off at the Jets’ 47 and returned it to the 8-yard line.
It was Hurts’ third interception of the game and Philadelphia’s fourth turnover.
Jets running back Breece Hall ran the ball in from the 8 for the Jets’ first touchdown of the day.
The two-point conversion throw from Zach Wilson to Randall Cobb gave the Jets a 20-14 lead with 1:46 to go in the game.
The stunning victory is the signature win of coach Robert Saleh’s time with the Jets.
The Eagles had been the last unbeaten team in the NFL after the 49ers lost earlier Sunday to the Browns.
Philadelphia is now 5-1 and the Jets improved to 3-3 entering their bye.
