The Jets are adding some depth at offensive tackle.
The team is signing free agent Yodny Cajuste, according to a source.
Cajuste visited the team last week.
The 27-year-old was a third-round pick of the Patriots in 2019.
Cajuste has battled injuries throughout his career.
He did not play in a game until 2021.
He has appeared in 17 games, making five starts, over the last two seasons.
The Jets have an interesting group of tackles set to fight for both the starting and backup jobs.
Duane Brown and Mekhi Becton would seem to have the inside track on the starting jobs, but both are coming off surgeries.
Max Mitchell showed promise as a rookie last year before he was lost for the season due to a medical condition.
The team drafted Carter Warren in the fourth round out of Pittsburgh and signed veteran Billy Turner.
Now, Cajuste joins this group.
