The heroes and zeros from the Jets’ 30-10 loss to the Bills on Sunday:

James Cook was by far the best running back on the field, torching the Jets for 132 yards on 21 carries.

That included a 44-yard scoring run, in which he made several Jets miss on the play.

After an encouraging Week 1 performance, Justin Fields took a major step back.

He was inaccurate and indecisive, completing only 3-of-11 passes for 27 yards.

It started early, when Fields missed a wide open Garrett Wilson on third down by a wide margin.

He left the game early in the fourth quarter, after hitting his head hard on the MetLife Stadium turf.

Josh Allen didn’t have to do much, but the reigning MVP still was plenty good for what he asked to do.

The Bills’ superstar quarterback threw for 148 yards and ran for 59 more in an efficient effort.

225 – Rushing yards allowed by the Jets, their most since giving up 260 yards on the ground to the Colts Nov. 5, 2021.
