Looking through watery eyes — thanks to the strong wind on the practice field in Florham Park, N.J. — it wasn’t so easy to dictate whether what one was seeing was true.
Things looked off, and upon a closer look, there were tangible indications of a new edition of “Freaky Friday.”
If one were to look for Aaron Rodgers going through the motions of his warm-up stretches in his No. 8 jersey, you would instead see Jets safety Trey Dean sporting the signal-caller’s number.
Similarly, Marquiss Spencer was wearing Zach Wilson’s No. 2 jersey.
