She’s Jenny from the Met.
Jennifer Lopez stunned in a black-and-pink Ralph Lauren gown as she made her return to the Met Gala red carpet, marking her first appearance at the annual fashion event since 2021 after skipping last year’s gala.
The “If You Had My Love” singer, 53, glowed in her ab-baring dress, which featured a crisscross black front that just about covered her breasts.
The dress featured a fitted pink bottom with a dramatic black train attached to the back.
While she told Vogue on the red carpet that she wasn’t “sure about the hat,” the singer looked elegant in the veiled headpiece, which brought to mind the mourning veils worn by the British royal family.
The fascinator was an appropriate accessory, as this year’s theme honors the memory of late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld — who died at the age of 85 in 2019.
Along with her headwear, the star added a pink satin clutch, long black gloves and some statement studs to her Met Gala look.
The last time she walked the Met Gala red carpet Lopez went with a rodeo-ready look, wearing a plunging brown Ralph Lauren gown with a daring slit along with some Western accessories.
She leaned into the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” theme with a cowboy hat, holster belt and chunky silver jewelry as then-boyfriend Ben Affleck joined her after the red carpet.
The couple wed in a small Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 before staging a lavish Georgia ceremony and reception a few months later, walking down the aisle in a ruffled Ralph Lauren gown and changing into two sexy looks by the designer for the reception.
Another memorable Met Gala moment for the “Let’s Get Loud” singer — who has been a regular attendee at the event since 1999 — came when the “Marry Me” star wore a silver beaded Versace dress along with a sparkling wig at the camp-themed 2019 gala.
And in 2018, she honored the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” theme by wearing a Balmain gown with a feathered train that featured jewels in the shape of a cross at the bust.
Other standout appearances include the floaty baby blue number she wore for her first Met Gala with ex Alex Rodriguez in 2017 and the sexy one-shouldered gown by Versace she sported for 2015’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” event.
