The sprawling 1.2-acre Beverly Hills mansion that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rented before finally purchasing a place of their own has hit the market for a cool $85 million.
“[It’s] in one of the best locations of Beverly Hills sitting at the end of a cul-de-sac,” the Agency’s Santiago Arana, who shares the listing with Coldwell Banker’s Jade Mills, told The Post of the 12-bedroom abode. “It truly is one of the most private estates you could imagine.”
The gated California compound is owned by late media mogul Kerry Packer’s son, James Packer, who once dated Mariah Carey, and purchased the property for approximately $65 million in 2018, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the listing.
Its celebrity pedigree extends prior to Packer — Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman sold the property in 2015 after owning it for 20-some years.
In addition to its star-spangled history, 1028 Ridgedale Drive also offers tens of thousands of square feet of luxe space spread across five structures: The grounds contain a primary residence, a pool house, a theater, garden suites and an accessory building.
“Past the motor court and columned facade, the [approximately] 25,000-square-foot main house stuns with its traditional chic styling and airy living spaces,” describes the listing.
There’s a formal living room, a formal dining room, a bar-equipped family room, two ensuite staff rooms, an elevator — and a primary bedroom with dual bathrooms, dual closets and a private balcony.
The 2,800-square-foot accessory building has an additional bedroom with a bathroom, a sauna, a gym, a bar and a second sauna, for the staff.
Other standout features include the motor court, the columned facade, a bedroom rock-climbing wall, a secret office door leading to a bathroom, a wine cellar, a spiral staircase leading from the movie theater to the cigar room and three car lifts in the garage.
