The Today Show crew finally unveiled their Halloween costumes and they certainly went all out this year – for better or for worse.

While some of the anchors got a more glamorous costume this year, like Savannah Guthrie as Legally Blonde‘s Elle Woods or Jenna Bush Hager as Rose from Titanic, Al Roker was practically unrecognizable in his Beetlejuice costume.

And the costume still had Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb talking when they sat down for the fourth hour of Today.

“You saw Al’s teeth?” Kotb asked her co-host after they saw Kelly Clarkson also dressed up as the spirit. “They were gnarly.”

Bush Hager appeared uncomfortable as she responded, “Yeah, the teeth were…  I was in that room sort of barfing when that was happening.”

Kotb agreed with a laugh, “It was really bad.”

Everyone was in the Halloween spirit this year. Anthony Mackie, who was visiting to promote his new thriller Elevation, dressed up as his Captain America: Brave New World co-star Harrison Ford‘s iconic character, Indiana Jones. Alan Cumming later visited to promote The Traitors Season 3 while dressed up as Godzilla.

But it’s always fun to see the Today Show anchors go all out for their costumes. This year, they reenacted some of the most iconic moments in cinema.

At the top of Today With Hoda & Jenna, Bush Hager told Kotb’s Jack to draw her “like one of your French girls, wearing only this [necklace] and three layers of Spanx.”

In an earlier hour of Today, Dylan Dreyer‘s Lydia Deetz summoned Roker’s Beetlejuice so they could reenact their iconic dance number. And she didn’t seem so grossed out by the teeth!

“It’s showtime,” Roker rasped.

Luke Wilson even reprised his Legally Blonde role to join Guthrie.

As for Bush Hager and Kotb, it didn’t look like they were planning on keeping their costumes on all night to go trick or treating with their families later.

“What’s happening right now is a rib is being pushed into place,” Bush Hager said of her elaborate corseted costume.
