NextImg:Jenna Bush Hager Says ‘Today’ Crew Made Fun Of Her Outfit Before The Show: “This Is Harassment”

The Today crew seems like one big happy family. This means they will tell you exactly what they think when you take a fashion risk, as Jenna Bush Hager did on Wednesday’s (Feb. 5) broadcast.

Bush Hager, who was wearing a uniquely patterned set, wasted no time at all after taking the stage on Today With Jenna & Friends to announce that some members of the Today crew had teased her about her outfit before the show.

“Earlier, all the boys on the show said I look like a pack of cards,” she told Ego Nwodim, her guest host for the week.

“Boys! What do they know?” Nwodim responded.

As they were talking, some members of the Today crew could be heard laughing behind the scenes. “I heard Sean just laugh hysterically,” Bush Hager announced, as someone behind the cameras clarified she looked like “a fashionable pack of cards.”

Nwodim, however, stood up for her co-host. “[She looks like] a queen!” she said.

“Thank you! Thank you,” Bush Hager responded. “I was like, ‘This is harassment.’ But not really harassment. They like to make fun of me.”

The Today crew members often speak their mind, even when the show is on the air.

Bush Hager once asked if it was “normal” that her son still slept in a crib, to which her stage crew responded with a resounding “NO.”

“I wasn’t even asking you!” Bush Hager replied at the time. But, during a later episode, she admitted that she had felt “shamed” by the “whole community.”

“Well, y’all had shamed me, and really the whole community had shamed me for the fact that he was in a crib. You all shamed me a little,” she recalled. “So I said, ‘Okay Hal, I think it’s time, some friends have said it’s time to move!’ And he was not ready, he was scared.”

Sometimes, mothers know best!

Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
