Jenna Bush Hager praised Chelsea Handler for being a “10-year-old entrepreneuer” after the comedian revealed she was running a hard lemonade stand for parents as a tween.

Handler was visiting Today With Jenna & Friends to promote her new book and celebrate her 50th birthday when she shared the hilarious anecdote from her childhood.

“When I was 10, I realized my parents didn’t have a great financial plan and I wanted to split ties with them because I was looking to have a more upscale lifestyle,” Handler recounted, as Bush Hager and Heather McMahan laughed. “So I started a lemonade stand and very quickly found out there was not a huge profit margin in a lemonade stand.”

She continued, “So, I decided to up it and make a hard lemonade stand where I served gin, whiskey, and tequila to all of the parents of children, and if they were 10 or above they could also have one.”

Handler added that she also “enlisted” another kid from the neighborhood to become her “barback,” and together they made $359 in the first week.

“We made a fortune,” Handler recalled.

Bush Hager turned to McMahan, who is guest hosting Today this week, and commented, “I have a 10-year-old, and I said to Heather, if my child did this I would think they were a genius.”

Bush Hager’s kids are already full of bright ideas. One of her daughters once revealed on national television that the Today host “never wears underwear.”

She announced on the show, “She’s not wearing it right now! I saw her change,” before her mother quickly rushed her off-stage.

On another occasion, her daughter posted a silly video of herself teaching her dad, Henry, how to “rizz up mom.”

“I’m just telling y’all, a little PSA for all my moms of tweens out there, my child does not have a cell phone, she just got an iPad last year. She’s 11, she edited that video, she filmed that video, she posted it on my stories,” Bush Hager said of the experience.

She added that her husband “was not excited about it,” but she thought it was “creative.”

Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
