Jenna Bush Hager shared an “odd” story about her 12-year-old daughter Mila on Today With Jenna and Friends during a hilarious conversation with guest host Erin Andrews about bras.
Bush Hager told Andrews that her daughter will sometimes ask to borrow her backless bras, which she called “chicken cutlets.”
“I’m like, ‘No Mila. And also we’re not the same size queen!'” Bush Hager fired back, causing Andrews to start cackling with laughter.
“That’s not how it works. It’s not one size fits all!” Bush Hager continued. “And she was like, ‘You’re the worst! You don’t have any chicken cutlets!”
The story reminded Andrews of her own childhood, who said her own mother used to suggest that she use a bandaid.
Bush Hager is always willing to share funny anecdotes about her family on the show. Mila once secretly uploaded a video to Bush Hager’s Instagram account of a rather private moment their family shared, which Bush Hager later unpacked on the show with Hoda Kotb.
The video showed her daughter teaching her dad, Henry, how to “rizz up mom.”

Bush Hager confessed to Kotb that she did not notice her daughter shared the video until she started receiving messages from friends about it.
“Henry was not excited about it because he thought that was a private moment that the two of them were having,” she explained. “[Mila] doesn’t have social media, there’s nowhere for her to post that. He didn’t think that was a public situation.”
She later deleted the video. But she admitted that she wasn’t “mad” at her daughter because she thought it was a “creative” move.
“She’s so creative,” Kotb told her co-host. “You raised a girl just like you.”
