That’s one way to move past a loss.
Behind the extraordinary efforts from quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo, the Giants rolled past the Eagles for a 34-17 win.
Skattebo rushed for three touchdowns and 98 yards while Dart both passed and ran for a score as the Giants (2-4) scored a statement win over their rivals. Dart threw for 195 yards through the air and added 58 on the ground.
The Giants all but sealed the win with 11:36 in the fourth quarter with after the Eagles (4-2) drove down the field to the New York 15-yard line before Jalen Hurts threw a back-breaking interception to cornerback Cor’Dale Flott, who returned it 68 yards. That set up a short, three-play drive capped off by a 1-yard score from Skattebo.
Philadelphia fumbled on the next drive, allowing the Giants to wind down the clock — going into victory formation with two minutes to go — and pick up the victory.
