Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s “brave” son finally was discharged from the hospital after spending more than a month receiving treatment for a “nightmare” diagnosis.
The “Sopranos” alum, 43, shared footage on Instagram last Friday of Beau, 10, skipping through the hallways as medical staffers, other patients and more clapped and cheered for him.
“After 33 days, we are busting out of here! My brave boy, you are a walking miracle,” Sigler wrote. “The rest of this story will be Beau’s to tell, if he chooses to one day.”
Sigler, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when she was 20 years old, hilariously concluded her emotional message by thanking the “incredible” staff at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Texas but joked, “no offense.. I hope we never see you again.”
“Thank you all for the love and prayers,” she added. “They worked.”
The actress revealed on Aug. 6 that she believed Beau had been suffering from a “normal virus” before it transformed into a “nightmare.”
Sigler explained that her son may have had acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), which is “a rare neurological condition that often occurs after a viral or bacterial infection” that “causes inflammation in your central nervous system,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.

“To say this has been hard, is an understatement, and I’ve never felt more broken,” she shared of her son’s ailments, “but, I have also never felt more love.”
Sigler shared on her “MeSsy” podcast with co-host Christina Applegate that Beau’s symptoms included having a 105-degree fever, “screaming” that his head hurt and being unable to eat and urinate before she and her husband, Cutter Dykstra, rushed him to the hospital.
“It was and has been like the darkest, hardest, most f–ked up thing I’ve ever been through,” she said in the Aug. 6 episode, adding that she believed her son was “dying.”
