James Harden has too much time on his hands.
The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t had a game since sweeping the Nets on Saturday, April 22 — nearly one full week ago while awaiting their second-round matchup, which will begin against the Boston Celtics on Monday.
Meanwhile, Harden took a trip to Las Vegas where the 76ers star was spotted at a nightclub and casino in the early hours of Monday morning, where he was seen slapping a man outside, per TMZ.
What began the confrontation between Harden and the unknown man — a close friend and personal photographer of the NBAer’s, according to the Philly Voice — is unknown, though TMZ reports that people had been watching the argument unfold outside of the building around 1:25 a.m.
The pair appeared to resolve their issue and returned to their respective night.
A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. spokesperson informed TMZ that officers were not called to the area
“We have had no incidents involving James Harden reported to the LVMPD,” cops told the outlet.
Harden likely needed the quick getaway after a hard-fought four-game sweep of the Nets, his former team, which was closed out on April 22.

The scorer, along with teammate Joel Embiid, received flagrant fouls in Game 3 of the first-round series; Harden for hitting Brooklyn’s Royce O’Neale in the groin and Embiid for kicking Nets center Nic Claxton.
Harden did average 17.3 points per game in the series on 34.3 percent shooting, adding 8.8 assists per game.
The 33-year-old is no stranger to nightclub trouble.

Harden, the NBA’s 2018 MVP, was fined $50,000 by the Rockets in Dec. 2020 after video emerged of him partying at a Houston nightclub without a mask.
It doesn’t seem he’ll catch any grief from the Sixers for his Vegas jaunt, however, as the Philly Voice reports he did not miss any practice or team activities during the trip.
Harden and the 76ers return to action on 7:30 p.m. this coming Monday for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Celtics.
