Bam Margera has been taken into custody at the Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania after he was arrested for driving under the influence.
The Jackass star was charged Sept. 16 with DUI and reckless driving, according to the Mainline Times & Suburban, violating the probation he was placed under after allegedly assaulting his brother in 2023.
Margera reportedly appeared at the county Justice Center Wednesday (Sept. 18), where he pled guilty to the charges. “I just want to says thanks for this whole situation,” he told Judge Patrick Carmody in court. “It lets me clean up my life. It is a blessing in disguise.”
Outside the court room, Margera said, “With the path I was on with alcohol and drugs, I needed to hit some rock bottom to turn things around. Now, I am on the right path.”
After this recent arrest, probation Officer Bradford Griffith claimed in the county records that Margera has failed to comply with the substance treatment plans set up for him. Griffith also wrote that Margera remains an “overt danger” to the public and himself.
Margera was placed on six months of probation and random drug testing this past June after pleading guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred at his family’s Pennsylvania home in April 2023. He was charged with assaulting his brother and threatening his family member’s lives.

His brother, Jess Margera, claimed Bam “banged on and kicked his locked bedroom door, [wrote] a threatening note, urinated in the kitchen sink, screamed at him, and struck him in the head.” Jess also claims Bam also threatened to kill “everyone in the house” and threatened to “put a bullet” in the heads of their parents, April and Phil Margera.
He fled into the woods before police arrived before eventually turning himself in to the authorities.
This incident occurred just weeks after Bam was arrested for public intoxication at a Los Angeles restaurant.
Bam was previously let go from the Jackass reunion in 2022, titled Jackass Forever, after he reportedly failed to comply with a wellness agreement in his contract that called for him to not use drugs. The MTV star was fired from the film after he tested positive for Adderall.
Bam is set to attend a probation violation hearing this coming Monday (Sept. 23).
