


Jack Flaherty is widely known to be available ahead of Tuesday’s 6 p.m. ET, trade deadline with multiple suitors vying for his services.
The Post’s Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman reported on Monday that the Tigers scratched Flaherty from his start on Monday to ensure he’s healthy ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, with several teams expected to be suitors, including the Yankees, Dodgers, and Braves, among many others.
The price is expected to be robust and could go right up to the deadline as teams negotiate/
According to oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Astros and Dodgers are currently the favorites to land Flaherty, followed closely by “any team” not listed (+350) in the odds board below.
The Braves, who have also been busy, are the fourth favorite to land Flaherty after having just absorbed the hefty salaries of Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson.

The Yankees are a bit distant at +900 and also have their eyes on another Tigers starters, Cy Young candidate Tarik Skubal, according to The Post’s Jon Heyman
“Any team not listed” would include the Mets, who are also desperate for a starting pitcher.
Christian Scott and Kodai Senga both appear to be ruled out for the season after injuries derailed their July.
