It’s safe to say that Ja Morant is pretty excited to have Derrick Rose in Memphis with him next season.
And some are anticipating Morant to have an incredible year with Rose by his side after he finishes serving his 25-game suspension.
It was a tweet by veteran guard Isaiah Thomas that proclaimed that Morant would be back better than ever next season.
“Watch what type of season Ja has next year with D rose connected to his hip all year long,” Thomas tweeted Wednesday afternoon. “Once he gets off suspension he will have his best season yet. That D Rose presence going to have him on some MVP s–t… Watch!”
The tweet caught the attention of Morant who chimed in himself on Twitter by quote-tweeting Thomas’ original comment.
“you too loud OG. They gon feel me fasho,” Morant wrote on the social media platform.
The Grizzlies star had kept a low profile on social media since he was handed a 25-game suspension for holding a gun in an Instagram live stream in June, which was the second gun-related issue he had on social media.
He has broken his social media silence a bit more recently, which included reacting to a tweet about Rose coming to the Grizzlies
Morant tweeted an emoji of a rose in response to the news.
The Grizzlies made the signing official on Monday.

Rose has proven to be a strong locker room presence that could help Morant from entangling himself in any further issues off the court.
Rose had been part of the Knicks’ squad that reached the postseason for the first since 2013 and on his most recent stint in the Big Apple, he was praised for his leadership.
The three-time NBA All-Star had spent the past three seasons with the Knicks and averaged 5.6 points in 27 games last year.
